Meta says its Muse personal AI agent will reach the company’s AI glasses in the coming months. The announcement, made at Connect 2026 and detailed in a September 24 recap, points to a new interface for AI: the objects people see around them.
According to Meta, wearers will be able to ask Muse to act on visible items, such as a product or a school-supply list. The company also announced additional service connectors and an email address for the agent. These are announced capabilities, not confirmation of universal availability.
Muse launched earlier in September. Meta says it runs in a dedicated virtual machine and requests approval before sensitive actions such as purchases. Those safeguards are company claims, not an independent security assessment.
Why it matters: Connecting an agent to glasses could reduce the effort of describing a task. The practical test will be whether that convenience translates into reliable actions and understandable permissions.
